Social Outing September 2015 - Tour of Old St Joseph and Unilever Factory

Ten members ejoyed a tour of St Joseph, the old capital of Trinidad. This was followed by a guided tour of the Unilever factory where they saw production of some of the many items that they produce. Following the tour, lunch was served and the ladies each left with a goody bag of Lux products. Thank you to Jacqueline for organising!

'Super Hero' Quiz Night, 3 May 2014

St George's Day Lunch, 23rd April

Lunch was at the ZaZou Restaurant situated at the Country Club. 33 ladies attended. We were treated with complimentary glasses of fruit juice and red/white wines. The meal was traditional English fare topped off with sumptuous desserts. A good time was had by all.
Our President, Philippa read out a bit of history about St George - who by the way was not British!.

Farewell Coctails for our Patron

In March, the British High Commisioner Eric Jenkinson and his wife Maire hosted a coctail party to bid farewell to the UKWC before they left Trinidad in May.
The Club was very sad to see Maire and Eric leave as they had been great supporters of the Club during their time here. We wish them every success and happiness in their future postings.
There was a nice write-up on the event in the Newsday.
